The proprietor of that wonderful blog, Bonnie Trenga, found this little gem:

Hee hee! I wonder if poor Dan is feeling a little blue. Like this:

Be sure you stop by Bonnie's blog and vote on the poll she posted. And if you like quick grammar tips as much as I do, be sure to visit her blog regulaly.

Hey. Think this was a Spell Check goof? I've found that Spell Check likes to change words.

Hi, Bonnie.

Yeah, it probably is a Spell Check issue. However, since the name is right there in the article, it should have been caught.

This one just seems crazy to me because many baseball fans have been looking at his name a lot the last few weeks (granted, the headline writer may not be a baseball fan). Also, since my first name is often spelled wrong, I'm pretty sensitive to getting names right.

Anyway, I thought it was kind of funny.

how can anyone misspell your first name? How difficult can it be to get "k" right? sheesh.

I'd like to think it was the newspaper's way of telling Haren that he's already 'out of sight, out of mind'.
